Vision

Lions club of Coimbatore PSGR Krishnammal College for Women and Leo Club is duly registered under the LIONS CLUBS INTERNATIONAL with an aim to serve the society. The motto of the club is “We Serve”. The Club programmes aim to take an active interest in the civic, cultural, social and moral welfare of the community and to unite the student community in the bonds of good fellowship & mutual understanding. The Club also aims to support the student community to enrich their skills through various training at the National and International level

Objectives

Vision and Health: One major focus area is vision and health. Lions Clubs are well-known for their efforts in preventing blindness, improving vision care, and promoting health through initiatives like providing eyeglasses and supporting eye surgeries.

Youth Programs: Lions Clubs often run programs for youth development, including leadership training, scholarships, and mentoring programs.

Environmental Initiatives: Some Lions Clubs engage in environmental projects such as tree planting, recycling programs, and promoting sustainable practices.

Disaster Relief: Lions Clubs are active in disaster relief efforts, providing immediate aid and long-term support to communities affected by natural disasters and other emergencies.
