Consumer Club enrolls students every year and conducts various activities to achieve the objectives of the club. The activities of the club include Awareness programmes, Guest lectures, Seminars and Inter-collegiate competitions. Activities are carried out in collaboration with Civil Supplies, Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of Food and Consumer Protection Department and Federation of Consumer Organizations Tamil Nadu.

To educate the students to act as healthy consumers by making them aware about their rights and redress mechanisms so as to act as responsible citizens.

MISSION
To mobilize students by instilling in them the spirit of the protection of Consumer rights. To inject knowledge on product standards, product quality and about the prevailing market conditions. To spread awareness about laws enacted for protection welfare of consumers and enforcement authorities concerned.

OBJECTIVES
The Fundamental Objective is to inform, educate and empower the young consumers about their rights and responsibilities.
