The vision of the founders of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women is to empower women with knowledge and leadership skills through education and participation in community service. Over the years the institution has envisaged the social responsibility of the students, along with education, and motivated them to take part in various social events. This helps students to identify societal concerns and provide unified solutions. The community outreach programmes of the college are organized under the umbrella of “VIRUTCHAM” and are undertaken in collaboration with government and non-governmental bodies in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
